What I say here is not theology. It is a retelling of my times spent with the Lord and what I feel I have learned from Him. I am not always correct, but as I continue to seek Him, He will eventually correct me.
We are all in different places in our walk. Some are babes. Some are wiser. We can be babes and wise at the same time, just in different areas. A wise Christian will recognize that someone more milky is sharing and be patient with where they are. A more milky Christian needs to understand that not everything everyone shares is necessarily for them or necessarily correct. It is best to make Jesus your shepherd and spend time with Him every day so He can teach you. (This is what I do.) ❤️ Love you!

Good morning. What if what you think you know, you don't know? What if you have made decisions about who God is or who Jesus is, but you really don't know because you're not in the word. We all make assumptions. We make assumptions based on what we've learned and how we've lived and what we've gone through. And we all make assumptions. And may I postulate to you that it's possible you've made an assumption without knowing the truth. And when you when uh we all make assumptions without knowing the truth, we become blind to the truth. We can see this in this great divide in politics today. Um, each one of us would look at the other side and say, you've assumed things, but they're not true. And then that side would come back and look at my side and say, you've assumed things that are not true. It it blows my mind at how opposite we are in our thinking and how much we we truly believe we are correct in what we believe. And that and there's no meeting in the middle. However, let me say this: my mom had a stroke, oh, probably two or three months ago now. She had a stroke. My mom is a conservative Catholic. Catholic first. The lady that lives across the street from her, very liberal. She would call herself socialist. And she's got the signs in her yard that prove it. So these are two people who typically would not get along, right? They get along wonderfully. When my mom had her stroke, that woman helped her so much, drove her to appointments, made sure she was okay, made sure she had food. It was amazing. Look at how these two people can get along and think completely differently on the political spectrum. Anyway, I just wanted to shine the light on assumptions. We all assume things. Now, the only way we know if something is true or not is the Bible. The Bible will kill your assumptions if they're wrong. And that's why you got to be in it. We can't make assumptions about who God is, who Jesus is, what he did, what it's supposed to look like, how I'm supposed to live my life, is whether this is okay or like tattoos being being a big point of argument. It's okay, it's not okay. Let me tell you this: when you get in the Bible and you're reading it and you're open to learning what God says, He will show you through a completely unrelated scripture what he wants for your life in a tattoo or a no-tattoo. If you're in the Bible every day, this is where you find truth. This is where you find righteousness, and this is where God will help you with everyday life. He'll help you in the word. So I've made a bunch of assumptions. And I said to the Lord, please, you are welcome to kill all of my assumptions. Because when when I assume something is right, I am now blind to the truth because I've assumed, and we all know we've done it, and we can all point to people who have done it, and we know they're blind to something, right? We can all point at somebody and say they have assumed this and they're so wrong. But I can't tell them that because they've assumed it and I can't, they won't even look at truth. We can all point to somebody that does that. So let's not let it be us. Let's make a decision today that we have assumed things wrong, and we are we repent and we ask for your forgiveness, Lord, if we've assumed something that's incorrect and we want to know truth, we want to know wisdom, we give up our current assumptions. You can have all of my current assumptions teach me the truth, and you're only going to find that in the word. You will find a million voices outside of the Bible that will tell you what to think and will tell you what is true and what is not. Is that not the big problem of 2026? We have no idea what's real and what's not. Because of AI and because people are liars. We have no idea what's real and what's not. In the Bible, you know what is real and what is not, what is right and what is wrong. You know. So a million voices are ready to tell you what to assume. Don't believe them. Only believe this. It is the litmus test for what is true and what is not true. If you're believing something wrong, sooner or later, he will tell you. And it will also give you opportunity to know what is right. We typically say, This is what I believe, when in fact we should say, This is what God says, and this is how Jesus taught it. So let's move from, well, I believe this all the way over to this is what God says in his word, and this is how Jesus taught it. And if I don't know the answer to that, then I need to be in the Bible. So I can know the answer to that. There you go. That's a little nugget right there. Have a wonderful day.
